Spence have been awarded another contract at Union Street, following a successful project at the same site repairing fire damage to Devonshire House.

The works to existing railway arches and Devonshire house, cover a range of trades including: ground works, arch lining, architectural glazing, builders works, Structural Steel, hard landscaping and M&E. Spence will also be coordinating the installation of a new electrical supply by UKPN to provide extra capacity for the incoming tenants.

The Arches are being converted for a variety of uses such as a night club, Restaurant, office space and retail.

A large element of the works is the restoration to the front of Devonshire House which comprises new bespoke timber framed windows, lime render and new glass door entrance. This will form the new entrance to the restaurant.
