Further to our continued growth and success, we are delighted to announce the following changes in Directorship at Spence.

Jonathon Spence – Managing Director of Spence

Jonathon now takes on the role of Managing Director of Spence.

Jonathon has been with the business for over 10 years, and more recently has been acting as Deputy Managing Director. He will now steer the Spence ship and continue to be supported by Andy Hill as Group Managing Director along with valuable input from his board of Directors.

Luke Spence – Pre-Construction Director Spence

Following on from recent tender successes, such as Waterloo Offices and Piccadilly Control Centre, Luke is formally appointed to the role of Pre-construction Director of Spence. Working with the Bid and Operational teams, and under his direction, this key area of winning work is the life blood of Spence and we are sure many more opportunities will become new contracts under his stewardship.

Manish Hirani – Financial Director Spence

Manish is now appointed as Spence’s Financial Director and will continue to undertake the sterling work that is going on within the accounts department. As a member of Jonathon’s board of Directors, his knowledge and experience in accounting processes will serve the business well in years to come.

Group Structure

As you may be aware, we have a group structure comprising of three companies: Veda, Integr8 and Spence. All three companies are performing well in their own market sectors: Engineering, Fire Suppression & Detection and Construction.

To enable this to continue and to further support the good work being undertaken by the current Managing Directors: Imran Khan, Scott Brampton and Jonathon Spence, we have now formed a Group Board of directors comprising of Nicola Spence (Group Director), Denise Carr (Group Financial Director) and Andy Hill (Group Managing Director).

The aim of the Group Board is not to be involved in the day to day business of each company, which is owned by the current Managing Directors, but to assist behind the scenes in a supporting role.

Congratulations to all concerned!
