Works included the refurbishment of the toilets with new lighting and flooring, the creation of meeting rooms and kitchen spaces through new glazed partitions and drywall dividers, safe removal of all asbestos, reinstallation of fire barriers and the installation of further barriers. Finishes included the installation of decorations, feature walls and new floor finishes and the refurbishment of the existing fan coil units with supplementary AC installed throughout. Existing mechanical and electrical fittings were retained and serviced and new feature lighting was installed throughout.
The team was faced with the challenge of a tight programme, as the client needed to move in after the Christmas break. This required forward planning to ensure that all works were completed on time.
