February saw the Spence team take on Network Rail in an evening of bowling fun, all in aid of the great cause that is CLIC Sargent.
As the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, CLIC Sargent strives to provide young people and their families with both practical and emotional support. From diagnosis onwards, the charity helps young people and their families to come to terms with cancer and helps them to get the most out of life during and after treatment.
The work that CLIC Sargent does is invaluable, but a lack of funds means that they can currently only support 2 out of the 3 young people that are in need of their help. With the aim to change what it means to be diagnosed with cancer when you’re young, we couldn’t be happier to help.
Spence are so pleased to announce that our recent bowling fundraiser with Network Rail has raised a fantastic £740 for the charity. What’s more, a great time was had by all.
A big thank you to everyone at Spence and Network Rail that took part in the fundraiser. We hope it’s the first of many and look forward to raising more money for such a vital charity in the future.
